About Us

We're India Garden Restaurant, and we've been a premier Indian restaurant and grocery store in Bloomington, IN, since 2013. We specialize in fresh, high quality, authentic Indian food made with organic spices, but we also offer Indian delicacies, a lunch buffet, hookahs, and glass pipes. In addition to food service, we are a grocery store with frozen foods, personal care products, ready-made food, disposable vapes, and much more. We're proud to offer our community organic food that is good for their health and prosperity! Our Story

India Garden Restaurant opened in Bloomington, IN, in 2013 after owner Rakesh Kumar moved here from Indianapolis to raise his family in a smaller town. He started the Indian restaurant and grocery store because he wanted to bring authentic Indian cuisine to his new home and the lovely people who make up the community. He felt this was the perfect way to incorporate his culture into the new life he and his family are building in Bloomington.

We specialize in fresh, high quality Indian food made with organic spices, as well as other delicacies like Indian beverages, cookies and desserts, snacks, pickles, statues, and more. We are also a grocery store stocked with frozen foods, ready-made food, and a lunch buffet. We make only the best quality food in order to promote good health and prosperity for our customers.

The food available in our grocery store includes rice, beans, lentils, candy, and various frozen foods. In addition to our food services, India Garden Restaurant also sells disposable, FDA-certified vapes, glass pipes, hookahs, incense, and other smoking accessories.

We provide catering services to our customers hosting events like weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, and more. You can rely on us to liven up your event with our fresh, high quality, and authentic Indian food. Our staff will work hard to make sure you and your guests are completely satisfied through your memorable event.
